About Honey Creeper
Honey Creeper is a small, independent site about online casino games, written for adults who want to understand what they are playing before they play it. We publish plain explanations of slots, return to player and volatility; the rules of classic table games such as blackjack, baccarat, pai gow poker and sic bo; and the way platforms and bonuses work once you read their terms line by line. A number of our older articles follow how online play has grown in Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea, and we keep adding to that thread.
What you will and will not find
You will find explanations. Every game we cover is shown together with its house edge, the share of each stake the casino keeps over the long run, because a description of a casino game is incomplete without its price. You will not find tips that promise profit, systems for beating the casino or pressure to sign up anywhere. We do not run games, take bets or hold anyone's money.
Who it is for
Everything here is meant for readers aged 18 and over. Many of our readers are curious newcomers who have spotted a game in an app or a casino lobby and want to know how it actually works. Others play now and then and want to make sense of a bonus offer or a paytable. If gambling has stopped feeling like fun, our page on playing within your limits is a better first stop than any game guide.
How we write
- Rules first, excitement second.
- Figures only when they are standard, checkable values, and always described as approximate.
- No invented studies, quotes or expert titles.
- Every article reminds readers that laws differ between countries and that they should check the rules where they live.
The longer version lives on our editorial standards page, and the way we test numbers before publishing is set out in Checking Our Facts.
Where to begin
If you are new here, three articles make a good start: losses disguised as wins, how to play blackjack and how to play baccarat. Unfamiliar terms are gathered on the vocabulary page, and the arithmetic behind payouts is walked through in Odds Made Simple.
Questions, corrections and topic ideas are welcome through our contact page. The people behind the articles introduce themselves on The Desk Behind the Odds.

Principles we come back to
Short lines that settle most arguments over a draft.
Name the price of a game in the same breath as its rules.
A big payout printed on the felt is a reason to do the sums, not to bet.
If a sentence would make a reader feel lucky, rewrite it until it makes them feel informed.
When two of us disagree, the more careful wording goes on the page.
Local law comes before any game guide.
Spotted a mistake?
A short note is enough.
